Delightful stay with friendly hosts
We were warmly welcomed, and the room was clean and cozy, just a short stroll to Whitby's attractions. Breakfast was superb, a delightful start to our mornings!
Although the location is great, parking was a bit tricky, and we had to find a spot a short walk away from the hotel.

The rooms here are quite cozy and well-kept. Each comes with a comfortable bed and a nice en suite bathroom with plenty of breakfast options available, from full English to pastries. There's a park right across the street, perfect for family outings or a quick stroll.
Some areas could use improvement, such as the cleanliness standards which revealed mould above the wardrobe and dust on skirting boards. Noise from the adjoining rooms is noticeable due to thin walls, and road noise made it difficult to enjoy a quiet night’s sleep. Parking can be a hassle, requiring a short trek to find a spot on the local streets.

Just stayed at Broomfield House for 4 nights and loved it! The decor in our luxurious room was beautiful. The massive comfy bed made sleeping a dream. Super handy location—only a 10-minute stroll to Whitby Town Centre. A couple of minor quirks, but overall a great experience!

fantastic location, dressing gowns, Google speaker
Very dated appearance!!! Tea/coffee facilities hidden in a dark wardrobe are impractical!!! The shower head is in dire need of a clean!!! Parking situation can be tricky—better planning recommended!!!

The room was tidy but cleanliness was lacking, with mould in the corner and dust on the skirting boards. Thin walls allowed noise from adjoining rooms to disturb sleep, and the road noise was noticeable. On a brighter note, the towels were soft and white, and the whole wheat bread rolls at breakfast were a delicious touch.

There was no on-site parking, requiring a short walk to find a space, which could be inconvenient, especially for families. The room was well-kept with cozy ambiance and a lovely en suite, but cleanliness could be improved, as dust was noticeable. Breakfast options were delightful, featuring delicious Koshihikari brand rice, and the full English was satisfying enough to leave some leftovers. Despite thin walls allowing some noise from adjoining rooms, the stay was generally comfortable and enjoyable.
